This is a great guitar. It is lightweight, low action, and has decent pickups from the factory. It is one of my favorite guitars to play. It features a mahogany body, flame maple top, mahogany neck, Jatoba fingerboard, and 2 Humbucking pickups. My model is the see-through Cobalt Blue. A fixed bridge and 8/38 light gauge strings produce a solid, rich tone. This guitar is perfect for rockin’ out with pop, classic rock, or metal.
The single-cutaway design gives the Eclipse EC-256FM its remarkable sustain. The set-in mahogany nick on the ESP LTD Eclipse EC-256FM provides a more solid connection to the body than a bolt-on neck design.

Parting Thoughts
After Purchase, I lowered the action and replaced the factory strings with 8/38s. For around $500, you can get a very good guitar that is easy to play for those with smaller hands or fingers. I would even recommend this to young players who are consistently interested in improving their guitar skills.
I’ll post a video later so that you can hear what this guitar sounds like.
A Short Haunting Melody is a version of Iron Maiden’s “Fear of the Dark.” The guitar is an ESP LTD EC356FM with EXL130 Nickel Wound Extra Super Light D’Addario 8/38 Strings. The amp is a Marshall MG15CF.
